John Moshay: Executive Vice President

As Executive Vice President of Business Development, Mr. Moshay expands WHITTMANHART's client base and guides the firm as it plays a leading role in redefining Internet marketing. John has extensive experience building brands, directing product introductions and in spearheading WHITTMANHART's overall business strategy. Calling on a broad range of inter-disciplinary skills to implement innovative business models, Mr. Moshay excels at migrating proven business practices into the interactive arena.
Mr. Moshay comes to WHITTMANHART with the acquisition of DNA Studio, which was founded in 1995 by Mr. Moshay and Chris Gibbin. He has since worked with every major technology company to find innovative next-generation techniques to engage and motivate online audiences. Successes include the first Flash-based movie trailer for the Sony Pictures film "Gattaca", reinvigoration of the Bond brand with a dramatic new site for "Casino Royale", the fostering of a partnership between Scion and Macromedia with an online design competition coinciding with the release of Flash 8; and using the Warner Brothers library to create a thriving broadband channel for AOL.
Mr. Moshay's list of firsts includes using 3-D environmental navigation, organizing alpha fans and webmasters into DNA-run online street teams, the use of online gaming technologies such as Director and WildTangent, and bringing virtual hosts online with green screen technology.
Before starting DNA, Mr. Moshay ran a successful apparel manufacturing company and was the licensee for Disney and Converse among other brands.
Mr. Moshay holds a degree in Rhetoric from Bates College.
